Landlords should arrange a gas safety inspection every 24 months (2 years) to comply with Victorian regulations. Our licensed technicians calculate ventilation requirements and inspect all gas appliances to ensure safe operation.

Due to the RTA 2021, Every time the house is re-leased all test need to be done again.

Our electrical compliance check provides a full safety inspection of the entire electrical system and appliances supplied by the residential rental provider, in accordance with AS/NZS 3019.
During the inspection, we:
  • Test safety switches to ensure proper functioning and address any faults that could cause immediate danger.

  • Replace damaged general power outlets (GPOs) or switches as required.

  • Include a complimentary split system filter clean to maintain optimal operation.

All of this is included in the inspection price + GST and covers a 24-month compliance period.

We provide a digital copy via email following the inspection.

As of March 2021, legislation was introduced to the Residential Tenancy Agreement that stated all rental properties were required to have a Gas and Electrical Safety Inspection every 2 years, and a smoke alarm inspection every 12 months. Real estate agents and landlords must ensure that these inspections are carried out.

No. Each visit is independent, but you can book them regularly if you wish.

Typically, the test takes around 1 to 1.5 hours, depending on the property size. Our qualified tradespeople come together so the work can be completed in one visit

Any follow-up appointments will be provided at no additional cost, and we will coordinate directly with the other tradespeople to ensure the matter is rectified promptly
